COOL WEBSITES

ThumbWorks! and Junior Achievement of Northeast Michigan team up to provide a unique opportunity for 16-21 year olds in the Thumb Area.  The goal of this unique partnership is to help young people learn the skills necessary to succeed in business… and the best teachers are people who have succeeded.

If you are a member of the business community, you can help as a volunteer – donating your time providing training and coaching in job-related and job-seeking skills.  We are also accepting monetary donations from businesses that believe in the program and want to see it continue in the Thumb.

Youth qualify in a few different ways:

  • If you are 16 – 21 years old, qualify financially, and are without a high school diploma or G.E.D., you can enroll in the ThumbWorks! career program.
  • If you are a high school junior or senior, you can become involved by becoming part of the Junior Achievement program at your school.

To be part of the partnership, call or visit ThumbWorks! or Junior Achievement of Northeast Michigan today!
